Its docs show no set-up for a particular client: add this address in your client the way it adds a remote MCP server.
https://mcp-on-edge.edgeone.site/mcp-serverThis is a small MCP server from Tencent EdgeOne that runs as EdgeOne Pages Functions rather than on your own computer. It exposes one tool, deploy_html: the assistant passes it a complete HTML document, the function stores that document in an EdgeOne Pages KV namespace under a random key, and it returns a public link of the form <your domain>/share/<key> where anyone can open the page.
The repository is a template: you deploy it to your own EdgeOne Pages project (there is a one-click deploy button), bind a KV namespace and a custom domain, and point your MCP client at <your domain>/mcp-server over Streamable HTTP. Tencent also runs a public copy at https://mcp-on-edge.edgeone.site/mcp-server, which the README of its npm package edgeone-pages-mcp names as built from this repository.
Two things the README does not spell out, both in the source: the KV namespace must be bound under the variable name my_kv, or every deploy fails with a KV error (functions/shared/constants.ts); and deploy_html rejects content that lacks an <html> tag or a <body> tag, so plain text or a fragment is refused despite the tool's description mentioning text (functions/kv/set.ts). The same project also serves a plain POST /kv/set endpoint that stores a page without going through MCP.
To host it yourself: a Tencent EdgeOne account with EdgeOne Pages, a project deployed from this repository, KV storage enabled with a namespace bound as my_kv, and a custom domain bound to the project. To use Tencent's public copy instead: only an MCP client that can connect to a Streamable HTTP URL.
One tool only: it publishes a single self-contained HTML document per call. It cannot upload folders, images or other assets, update or delete a page it published, or list pages; links use a fresh random key each time. Content without <html> and <body> tags is refused. The server declares MCP protocol version 2024-11-05. The repository has no tagged releases; the page describes the main branch.
Suits someone who wants an assistant to turn a generated HTML page into a shareable link, either on Tencent's public endpoint with no setup or on their own EdgeOne domain so the links and stored pages stay under their control. Anyone who needs to deploy whole folders or full-stack projects to EdgeOne Pages should look at Tencent's edgeone-pages-mcp-fullstack package, which its npm docs name for that, and which runs locally and uses an EdgeOne API token.
