Its sign-in lets no client register itself: a client signs in only with an app (a client ID) registered with its maker first, so these snippets work only after that step.

Commerce Gate MCP is the Decionis stdio server for asking whether a commerce action clears a merchant's policy before anyone performs it. An agent submits the facts of a proposed price change, stock change, order acceptance, fulfillment step (acknowledge, ship, cancel or hold), promotion, refund or return, and the Decionis API answers with PROCEED, HOLD or BLOCK plus a reference to a signed Decision Dossier. These checks run in Shadow Mode by default: the result is recorded as evidence and nothing in the shop is blocked or changed.
Two more checks sit beside the seven action types. One gives an allow-or-block answer for a complete Dynamics 365 transaction (1 to 200 lines) and can reserve agent budget for it. The other checks a Microsoft Partner Center or AWS Marketplace SaaS offer packet before it is submitted by hand. Read tools fetch dossiers, proof packets and Shadow Mode reports, and a capability tool describes Walmart Marketplace connection mappings and connector limits.
The server itself never writes to a marketplace or ERP. Your own tools or a person carry out the action after a PROCEED. The released v0.1.6 package registers 8 tools over stdio (src/Tools.ts). The same program started with --http or MCP_TRANSPORT=http adds three 90-day historical assessment tools, for 11 in all (src/Runtime.ts). The package README describes the stdio package as a seven-tool contract, but its own tool table and the code list eight. The source now lives in a private Commerce repository, and the public folder only indexes the released version.
| To run it yourself | Node.js 20+ |

Node.js 20 or later (npx). A Decionis workspace for real use: on macOS and Linux the first valid commercegate_evaluate_action call creates a provisional Shadow trial workspace with no sign-up. On Windows, and for the Dynamics 365 guard, you need an existing DECIONIS_API_KEY (with DECIONIS_ORG_ID for Protocol calls). Paid Decionis plans apply beyond the trial limits.
It records policy results and never executes the action: no repricing, stock, order, refund or ERP posting, and no offer submission. Shadow Mode checks don't block the native commerce flow. Only price change and order acceptance have native margin mappings; the other five action types are generic evaluations that are only as complete as the facts you send. Margin covers merchandise only and leaves out shipping, tax and fees. Trial access can't authorize ERP transactions, and automatic trial creation isn't available on Windows. Shadow report tools take days 1 to 365 and limit 1 to 100. The historical assessment tools exist only in HTTP mode.
It suits merchants and operations teams on Decionis Commerce Gate who want an agent to check repricing, stock, order, fulfillment, refund, return or Dynamics 365 actions against policy, and to keep signed evidence, before their own tools act. It reads and records but changes nothing in the shop, so pair it with a separate server or connector that performs the action. It isn't useful without a Decionis workspace, and Windows users must bring an existing key. It doesn't fit anyone looking for a server that edits listings or processes orders directly.
