What it does

ReactUse MCP is the MCP server published alongside ReactUse (@reactuses/core), a collection of more than 110 React hooks for browser APIs, effects, elements, state and integrations. It gives a coding assistant the library's documentation on demand, so it can find a suitable hook and use it correctly instead of guessing its API.

Three tools cover the job: list every hook (optionally by category), search hooks by name, description or content with ranked results, and fetch one hook's full documentation with its description, usage example and API table. The server also provides resources and prompts, according to its package description.

It runs locally with npx -y @reactuses/mcp@latest over stdio, and can also serve HTTP on a port (default 3000, bound to 127.0.0.1). It needs no account or key. It is useful only to projects that use, or are considering, the ReactUse hooks library.
