What it does

Docker-Android packages Android emulators in Docker images for testing and automation, with a web VNC view. It also ships an MCP server (marked beta) as a separate image, budtmo/docker-android:mcp, that lets an assistant control a running emulator over adb.

The server has six tools: list connected devices, open an app by name, visit a URL in the device browser, read the current foreground window, press a hardware button, and wait between steps.

The project's example runs it with docker compose next to an emulator container: the MCP container connects to the emulator through EMULATOR_HOST and EMULATOR_PORT (adb on port 5555) and serves MCP over HTTP on port 8000 at /mcp. Emulators need KVM on the host.
